Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how Improvement Analytics Ltd handles refund requests for the Data Analysis Toolkit and related digital products purchased through our website.
1. Digital Product Delivery
The Data Analysis Toolkit is sold as a digital product with a license that is valid for a single user and a single laptop. Because it can be copied as soon as it’s downloaded, we’re unable to offer refunds for change of mind, or because the toolkit turns out not to suit your needs. All purchases are final.
We’ve built our purchase process around making sure you know exactly what you’re getting before you buy — not after.
Try before you buy
Every purchase requires you to first download a free 30-day trial of the full toolkit - you cannot buy the toolkit without downloading and opening the trial version first. Use this time to test the toolkit against your own data, your own analyses, and your own way of working, so you can be confident it’s right for you before you pay.
System requirements
The toolkit is built specifically for Excel 2016 or later, desktop application only (Windows or Mac with a Windows emulator). It does not work with:
Excel Online / Excel for the web
Google Sheets
LibreOffice, Numbers, or other spreadsheet software
You’ll be asked to confirm you understand this both when you download your trial and when you complete your purchase. Please make sure you’ve checked compatibility with your own system during the trial period — this is exactly what the trial is for.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are considered on a fair-use basis. If your licensed copy is genuinely defective — for example, it won’t open, or a documented feature doesn’t work as described, in a supported version of Excel — contact us at support@dataanalysistoolkit.com with details of the problem, including your Excel version and a description (or screenshot) of what’s going wrong. We’ll investigate and put it right.
This policy does not cover issues caused by modifications you’ve made to the workbook, use of unsupported software, or your own data.
Refund requests should be made with 14 days of purchase.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are not available where the product has been successfully downloaded and accessed, where the request is based on a change of mind, or where the issue is caused by unsupported software, altered files, or circumstances outside our control.
4. How Refunds Are Processed
Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method through our payment processor. The time taken for funds to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
5. Support Before Refunds
We want customers to be able to use the toolkit successfully. Before issuing a refund, we may offer practical support, replacement download access, or guidance to help resolve the issue.
